Fees have been fixed for the academic session 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 of professional courses in the state by the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC). Before fixation of fees by AFRC if private professional educational institutions have taken fees from students, if more amount has been taken from the students as fees then the difference amount will be returned to them immediately, and if less fees have been charged then the remaining amount would be taken from the students.
The committee has written a letter to the Director of Medical Education, requesting not to start the admission process in that institutions for those courses, which have not applied for fee fixation and whose fees have not been fixed. A letter has also been written by the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee to various educational institutions to refund the fees if have been taken more fees than the prescribed fees from the students before fee fixation.
