Raipur, May 24, 2022 / Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday visited Haat Bazaar during his meet and greet programme organized in Badekilepal village falling under Chitrakot assembly constituency of Dantewada district. A shopkeeper Basant Rai called him ‘Kaka, please buy bindi for Kaki’. Mr. Baghel bought bindi from him. Addressing the villagers during the meet and greet programme, Chief Minister said that I also bought ‘bindi’, ‘sindoor’ and ‘mehndi’ for my wife from Haat Bazaar today just like you. Chief Minister also inspected the mobile medical unit from which the villagers are being given treatment in Haat Bazaars. He inquired about the available medicines besides asking the doctors about the treatment being provided here. Doctors told that a scheme named ‘Sanga Jaan’ is being run to promote institutional delivery in the district. Chief Minister heaped praise on this initiative.
Hostel facility will also be available in Swami Atmanand schools Chief Minister said that Swami Atmanand schools are being opened at a rapid pace in the state. Hostel arrangements will also be made in these schools. Children will be provided transportation facilities till the completion of hostel construction. For this, arrangement of buses will be done and tribal youth will be financed for the operation of buses. On this occasion, the children of Swami Atmanand School presented a beautiful sketch of Mr. Baghel with his mother to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister appreciated this lovely gift of the children and also took a selfie with him. He also felicitated the meritorious students of Higher Secondary and High School.
Treatment of cancer patient made possible with the State Government’s financial aid Lalita Vatti told the Chief Minister that with the schemes of State Government she got relief from paying hefty bills of hospitals for cancer treatment of her sister-in-law. Rs one and a half lakh were received from the Chief Minister’s Free Health Assistance Scheme, which made treatment possible. The Chief Minister said that providing quality healthcare to citizens is among the topmost priority of state government. Concrete steps have been taken in this direction to make healthcare accessible and affordable for all.
Women SHG generated an income of Rs 2 lakh from Godhan Nyay Yojana, members bought jewelry Vaijanti formed self-help group to avail benefits of Godhan Nyay Yojana. Vaijanti told the Chief Minister that our group comprises of 10 members and everyone has worked hard to make our dreams come true. We have all bought jewelry and Godhan Nyay Yojana has proved to be the key to our happiness. Congratulating the women, the Chief Minister said that the schemes of the state government have been specially tailored focusing on rural development, the benefit of which is being given to you all.
Income from Van Dhan Yojana Anjana Baghel of Badekilepal told that everyone is getting employment through forest committees. Their group has earned an income of Rs two lakh 50 thousand by collecting minor forest produce through Van Dhan Yojana.
Sulfi tree holds a special place Bastar’s culture and people consider this tree as wealth. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel planted a sapling of Sulfi tree today.
Inspected Bastanar Tehsil Office, instructions were given to set up revenue camps for the convenience of the people Chief Minister also inspected Bastanar Tehsil Office on this occasion. He took the stock of all registers and took information about the registered cases. He said that all the cases should be resolved within the stipulated time limit. Instructions were given to set up camps for land related issues.
