C&D plant is important for the proper management of debris coming out of houses
Raipur, 19 April 2023/ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the C&D plant at Hirapur Jarwai in Raipur during Bhent-Mulaqat today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that, due to a surge in construction activity in cities, C&D plants have been built to properly handle construction and demolition waste, commonly known as debris, resulting from demolition and other procedures. After the trash has been processed, paver blocks, tiles, and drain covers will be manufactured here. Effective debris disposal through a C&D plant will reduce issues such as air quality, drain blockage, and pond water storage capacity.
When inspecting the building of a paver block plant in Jarwai’s C&D facility, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked Aarti Dahre of Attari village, who works here, how much money she earns per day. Aarti stated that she earns 200 rupees per day. Every day, 2500 paver blocks are manufactured here, said Aarti. She told the Chief Minister that this initiative is a wonderful first step toward creating jobs. Simultaneously, the Chief Minister congratulated her.
