Brought back smiles to the faces of family members
Raipur 20 November 2022/ A two year and nine months old boy hailing from village Chhichhli of Jashpur district has got a new lease of life after getting surgery for congenital heart defect under the ‘Chirayu Yojana’.
Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Shivansh’s mother Smt. Pratima Yadav said that she can’t contain her happiness after seeing her child smiling and healthy. Shri Baghel has done a huge favor by getting our child operated successfully. Me and my family thank him with all our heart for all the necessary assistance.
Meanwhile, the boy’s heart surgery was performed at SMC Hospital Raipur under Chirayu Yojana.
Significantly, the government’s ‘Chirayu Yojana’ is proving to be a boon for children of remote and far flung areas. Under this, children suffering from serious diseases are getting free of cost treatment. The Chhattisgarh government makes all the arrangements for treatment of the child in renowned hospitals, bearing all the expenses.
The successful operation of the boy has brought back smiles to the faces of family members. Soon after receiving information about the health condition of the boy, the district’s Chirayu team entered all his information on the dedicated portal. After all the necessary process, he was sent to SMC Hospital in Raipur for his heart surgery.
Meanwhile, as many as 15 Chirayu teams are functioning in Jashpur district under the health department. Each team visits the Anganwadi and government schools of its development block to screen the health of children and ensure necessary arrangements for better treatment of children suffering from serious ailments.
