Chief Secretary Mr.Amitabh Jain visited C-Mart situated at Bhilai and took an inspection. While taking the tour, he suggests that put photos of the manufacturing process also along with the display of the product. He also praised the management and products available at C-Mart. He also bought products worth Rs.1683.
Highlighting the special features of the products, the Chief Secretary said that they are completely hygienic and very well prepared by members of SHGs. Talking about Bastar’s honey he explains that it is produced by special species of bees and is completely organic. It has medicinal properties which can be used in various ways. Photos covering the production of honey can also be depicted with product photos, which can also outline its uniqueness and will motivate buyers. The Chief Secretary also praised the system of taking digital feedback and it is easy for management to take feedback and consumer to give feedback through Whatsapp rather than following the old process of taking feedback through registers.
The Chief Secretary also suggests that for ‘dona pattal’ display that plastic waste is harming the environment and is also a major factor of increased pollution but on the other side use of ‘dona pattal’ products is the most eco-friendly way to save nature. This can also ensure promoting a green and clean environment. He further said that we have festive seasons ahead. SHG product sales increase especially on Diwali, so prepare a strategy keeping in mind for the upcoming Diwali. He also instructed to improve the parking system in C-Mart.
Durg Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena informed that hoardings at various sites are being placed to promote C-Mart. Special arrangements have been made for its publicity in government offices as well. Considering the hot summer and humid environment in the store, AC will be used very soon. District administration officials were present during the inspection.
