The second floor of the office has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 1.65 crore
Raipur, 12 May 2022 / Chief Minister Mr Bhupesh Baghel virtually inaugurated the newly constructed second-floor of the Office of Advocate General located in Bilaspur High Court premises, from his residence office on Thursday. The second floor of this office building has been built at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 65 lakh 86 thousand.
Advocate General of Chhattisgarh Mr Satish Chandra Verma, Additional Advocate General Mr Amrito Das, Mr Sunil Otwani, Mr Chandresh Srivastava, Mrs Meena Shastri and Mr Raghavendra Pradhan along with Law Officers and other officers-employees of the office joined this programme through video conferencing from Advocate General’s Office Bilaspur.
Chief Minister extended his congratulations and best wishes to everyone including the Advocate General on this occasion. Mr Baghel said that with the completion of this new construction, all the concerned would be able to discharge their duties in a more systematic and convenient manner. Necessary arrangements are being made for the speedy and smooth functioning of this office. The Chief Minister expressed happiness over the expansion of the Advocate General’s office as well as the digitization of the official work. He said that with the digitization of work, relevant departments of the government will get information regarding legal matters on the same day. This is saving both time and labour of the departmental officers. Mr Baghel assured to provide all the facilities as per the requirement of the Advocate General’s office in future as well.
