“Malviya ji played a significant role in Indian independence and awakening national consciousness among the people”: Chief Minister
Raipur, 24 December 2021 / Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid tributes to the freedom fighter and social reformer Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya on the occasion of his birth anniversary which falls on December 25.
Mr. Baghel recalled the unparalleled contribution of Mr. Malviya saying that Malviya ji played a significant role in Indian independence and awakening national consciousness among the people. Apart from being a great educationist, he was also the founder of Banaras Hindu University–a renowned educational institution in India.
“He devoted his entire life in the service of ‘Bharat Mata’ and Hindi language. Along with protecting the importance of the ancient civilization of India, he also emphasized on the development of Sanskrit education. He was given the title of ‘Mahamana’. His ideologies continue to inspire people across the country even today”, said Chief Minister.
