Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s first ‘Jandarshan’ program was organised on Thursday

Chief Minister directly interacted with people one on one in the Jandarshan program, and listened to their problems

Chief Minister instructed the concerned officials to take the necessary actions for the issues presented to him by the people

Applications presented to the Chief Minister will be registered and uploaded on the Jandarshan portal; Shri Sai will personally monitor the status of applications on this portal

The first ‘Jandarshan’ program of Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government was organised at the Chief Minister’s residence office on Thursday. During the ‘Jandarshan’ program, people from various districts met with Chief Minister Shri Sai and shared their problems. Chief Minister Shri Sai assured that the applications received during the Jandarshan program would be resolved as quickly as possible.

Addressing the people, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated, “Our government has been in power for six months. During this time, I have been continuously meeting people and trying to meet everyone, but there was still a need for a program solely dedicated to meeting the public. Dr. Raman Singh’s government previously organised the Jandarshan program. Today, our government has restarted this program. The Jandarshan program will be held every Thursday.”

Through the Chief Minister’s Jandarshan program, held every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will directly meet with people to listen to their problems and expectations. The issues and applications presented to the Chief Minister during the Jandarshan program will be registered and uploaded on the Jandarshan portal. Chief Minister will monitor the status of applications on this portal. The concerned departments are responsible for resolving the applications within a specified time frame and informing the applicants of the outcome.

A large number of women also came to meet Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai during the Jandarshan program. They congratulated him for initiating the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the state and shared that the financial aid provided through this scheme has helped them complete essential tasks. This support has increased their respect and strengthened their self-esteem, making them feel more self-reliant.

The women expressed their gratitude and stated that the government has understood their needs and they hope it will continue to work with the same sensitivity in the future. A woman came with her husband Shri Ramesh Shukla’s problem. She shared that her husband needs advanced cancer treatment. The Chief Minister assured her that health is a top priority for the government and promised all possible assistance for her husband’s treatment. He immediately directed the Health Department to take action in this regard. Expressing her gratitude for the Chief Minister’s compassion, Smt. Shukla stated that they had come to the Jandarshan with hope and that meeting the Chief Minister had given her confidence in obtaining prompt and quality treatment for her husband. Smt. Shukla shared that she had learned about the Jandarshan program two days ago. She shared about the Chief Minister’s efforts in assisting people in Chhattisgarh with medical treatment during his tenure as an MP and minister. She felt that her visit to the Jandarshan had been successful.

Ayushi Dwivedi, a college student from Shyam Nagar, Raipur, visited Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai during the Jandarshan program. Ayushi expressed her aspiration to serve the country as an IAS officer but mentioned that financial constraints are hindering her dream. She shared that her father, who encouraged her greatly to pursue a career in civil services, passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ayushi now aims to fulfil both her father’s dream and her own. She appealed to the Chief Minister for assistance to overcome the obstacles in her path. In response, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to provide the necessary facilities and support for Ayushi’s preparation.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met with several divyangjans at the Jandarshan program. He showed compassion to divyang children present in the program and interacted with their parents. The Swasthya Kiosk Karmachari Sangathan also met with the Chief Minister to discuss their concerns. Additionally, a delegation of nurses who had received GNM training submitted a memorandum to him. Students undergoing B.Ed. training, teachers from the Bastar division, and college guest lecturers also met with Chief Minister Shri Sai during the Jandarshan program to present their issues. The Chhattisgarhi Chhtra Sangh and Aniyamit Karmachari Mahasangh were among those who submitted memorandums as well. Various committees from Shanti Nagar in Raipur shared the problems caused by garbage and requested intervention from the administration on the issue. The delegation of sanitation inspectors requested the Chief Minister to recruit more sanitation inspectors. The Dhobi Mahasangh also presented a memorandum regarding their issues. Farmers met with the Chief Minister during the Jandarshan program to discuss the issue of crop damage, and he assured them of compensation according to the rules. Various individuals submitted applications for issues such as removing illegal encroachments and seeking medical treatment. A young man requested admission to the Takshashila library, and the Chief Minister instructed the Raipur Collector to facilitate this admission.

The Secretaries to the Chief Minister, Shri Rahul Bhagat, Shri P. Dayanand, Commissioner of Public Relations Shri Mayank Srivastava, along with senior officials of the Secretariat, Raipur District Collector, Senior Superintendent of Police, and many administrative officers, were present.
