Plants a sapling of Amla tree in his residential premises
Raipur 05 June 2023// Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel planted a sapling of an Amla tree in his residential premises today on the occasion of World Environment Day. He urged the residents of the state to take responsibility for planting and maintaining plants in their homes and surroundings.
Shri Baghel also emphasized the importance of extensive tree plantation during the upcoming monsoon season and encouraged efforts to transform villages, pasturelands, fields, and forests into lush green landscapes.
Chief Minister stated that the state government is making every possible effort for environmental conservation. One of the core objectives of the state government’s ambitious Godhan NYAY Yojana is environmental protection and conservation. The state government is actively working towards improving the environment through various schemes, including Suraji Gaon Yojana, Mukhyamantri Vriksharopan Protsahan Yojana, Vriksh Sampada Yojana, and Krishna Kunj Yojana.
Chief Minister’s Advisor Shri Pradeep Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Subrat Sahoo, and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri V Srinivasa Rao were also present on the occasion.
