Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid his obeisance to Babu Chotelal Shrivastava on his birth anniversary today. While remembering the struggle of Babu Chotelal Shrivastava, the Chief Minister said that ‘Babu Saheb’ played a prominent role in raising the awareness of the public for independence in Chhattisgarh. He awakened the feeling of nationality in people and encouraged them to participate in the struggle for independence. Babu Chotelal’s birthplace, the village of Kandel, has been recorded in history because of the fight against injustice and exploitation under his leadership. Mr. Baghel said that the ideas of Babu Chotelal Shrivastava, who was blessed with a conscientious and rebellious nature, will always inspire us.
