Investigation held regarding the matter of issuing fake certificates of contractors

The Labour Commissioner directed the officials of the Labour Department to conduct a thorough investigation of computers and other documents by raiding three centers operating in Raipur city. These choice centers are operating at Sahu Complex located in Tikrapara, at Sunder Nagar, and at Lily Chowk in Purani Basti. It had come to the notice of the Labour Commissioner that illegal money has been demanded in the name of issuing fake certificates of contractors by some operators of choice centers operating in Raipur.
As per the instructions of the Labour Commissioner, a joint team of four officers raided the three Choice Centers in Raipur and investigated the documents and materials available in the center. During the investigation, the joint investigation team mentioned in its report that no such document was found regarding certificates for which the complaint has received.
It is worth noting that taking seriously the issue of demand for money from the applicants in the name of issuing fake certificates of contractors by the said choice centers, the Chhattisgarh Labour Commissioner directed the officials to investigate the issue. In compliance with the instructions of the Labor Commissioner, a joint team was formed including the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Raipur, labour inspector Mrs. Jayanti Bansal, Mr. R.R. Pal, and Mr. Dhanendra Chandrakar along with district manager Mr. Sunil Pandey and directed to investigate the matter thoroughly. The joint investigation team got the ID of the said centers and checked their all systems and records. The team has not found any evidence regarding the said complaint in the said institutions.
The Labour Commissioner of Chhattisgarh has instructed all the choice center operators to completely follow the rules and process while filling out the application and to take only the prescribed fee from the beneficiaries. He has said that strict legal action will be taken against the concerned if any kind of complaint is found to be true against any choice center operators.
