Raipur, 27 December 2022/ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today reached village Bori of Saja assembly constituency in Durg district today under his statewide Bhent-Mulaqat campaign. Public representatives and a large number of villagers welcomed and felicitated the Chief Minister. Development works worth Rs 44 crore were unveiled for the people of village Bori at hands of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. He also made several major announcements for the development of the area. He said that a new ITI would be established in Litiya (Semaria). He also announced upgradation of Community Health Center with additional 20 bed facility, starting of sub registrar office and opening of pre-matric and post-matric SC/ST hostels in village Bori.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that buildings of higher secondary schools will be constructed in Ghotwani, Khilorakala and Deori. Courses of MA political science and economics will be started in Government College Bori. Nutrition rehabilitation center will be established in Community Health Center Dhamdha. He announced construction of bridges on Shivkokdi, Ghotwani to Mudpar road, Navagaon-Parsadapar road, Doma-Patharia road and Potia-Temari road. Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey was also present on this occasion.

Inauguration of new Tehsil office in village Bori

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated the new Tehsil office in village Bori with customary rituals. On this occasion, he also distributed caste certificates to 12 students. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited Swami Atmanand English Medium School and met the students there. Students presented his sketch to the Chief Minister. Chief Minister graciously accepted the gift and took a selfie with them.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel’s public interaction

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel commenced the Bhent-Mulaqat program in village Bori by garlanding the portrait of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and recitition of the state song. He asked people about the paddy procured and inquired about the loan waiver. He said that even in the adverse circumstances, our government continued with the implementation of the schemes for the benefit of agriculture. We did not let the farmers suffer. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that this year there is a target of purchasing one crore 10 lakh tons of paddy. Paddy procurement has significantly increased in last 4 years. Paddy cultivation area has increased by 7 lakh. People are coming back to farming. Meanwhile, on the complaint of encroachment in Navagaon, Chief Minister directed officials concerned to investigate the matter and take necessary action.

Women showed dung paint to the Chief Minister
During the Bhent-Mulaqat programme, Devki Verma of Litiya village informed the Chief Minister about the cow dung paint unit set up in her village. She told Chief Minister that 1200 liters of cow dung paint was produced in the first batch. Distemper, emulsion etc. are also being produced in the village. The villagers are very happy with the establishment of this unit. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also checked the cow dung paint produced in the village and told the villagers that the government building will be painted with cow dung paint and it would also be made available at C-Mart. There is so much we can do with the things produced from our land. We are enhancing the full potential of rural skills, said Chief Minister.

Selling paddy has become convenient with token facility

Mr. Devdutt Patel, a farmer who came to meet the Chief Minister, told that his loan of Rs.60,000 has been waived off. Three installments of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana have also been received. He has bought a pickup vehicle with this money. The installment comes at the time of down payment. Mr. Patel told the Chief Minister that now banks do not hesitate to give loans. On this, the Chief Minister said that the bankers are now aware that the farmer are financially equipped. Mr. Devdutt told that earlier there used to be queues at 2 o’clock in the night to sell paddy, now the facility of online token has become available, and farmers do not have to face any inconvenience any more.

Cow dung has become gold

When Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked about Godhan Nyay Yojana, Mrs. Gayatri Yadav of village Ranikokdi told that she has sold cow dung worth Rs.30,000. She is utilizing this money for education of her son. Similarly, Pahatiya Vishnu Yadav told that he has sold cow dung worth about Rs 2 lakh 70 thousand so far. He used the money to arrange wedding ceremony of his brother and also bought a super splendor bike for himself. Mrs. Mankunwar told the Chief Minister that she bought cow and buffalo by selling cow dung. Urvashi Nishad told that she had bought jewellry for herself from the money she earned by selling cow dung. On this Chief Minister said that cow dung has turned into gold.

Student said to Chief Minister- no more worries about school fee

Chief Minister interacted with the students of Swami Atmanand English Medium School during Bhent-Mulaqat programme. Meanwhile, Gitanjali Sahu recited the song Mor Chhattisgarh ke Mati… and expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for starting Swami Atmanand School. Student Durga Sahu told Chief Minister that earlier her fees in private school used to be Rs 20,000, but now they do not have to worry about school fee.
