Chief Minister announced financial assistance to Mrs. Girija to buy a vehicle

CM announced to establish a 33 KV substation in Odan, a Swami Atmanand English medium school, and SDM office in Palari

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Odan village of Kasdol assembly constituency on December 22 as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’ across the state. He interacted with the public and took feedback about the implementation of the schemes of the state government. He said that the state government is continuously working according to the farmer’s interest and providing all necessary facilities in every aspect. During the Jan Chaupal, Chief Minister ordered to provide financial assistance to Mrs. Girija Dhidhi, a resident of village Ghotia, to buy a new vehicle. Mrs. Girija told that she had bought a flour mill and a four-wheeler by selling organic manure, but her vehicle was burnt, and also vehicle insurance has lapsed. After listening to her, Chief Minister announced to provide financial assistance of Rs.3.5 lakh to buy a new vehicle.

The announcements made by Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel during the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ program organized at Gram Panchayat Odan include the construction of a high-level bridge over Mahanadi in Amethi of Palari development block, construction of a bridge over the brook between Zara and Parswani, bridge construction from Datan to Parsadih Nala, embankment construction work will be done in village Mohan, veterinary dispensary to be opened in village Cherkapur, Govt. High School Telasi is to be upgraded to Higher Secondary School, Primary School Khapri (Baijnath) is to be upgraded to Middle School, and New school building construction for government high schools in villages Sundravan and Chhadia. He also announced a financial grant of Rs 50 lakh for infrastructural development in village Odan, Building construction for the sub-tehsil office in village Sandi, Upgrade Village Rohansi into Nagar Panchayat, 33kv substation to be established at Odan, Swami Atmanand English Medium School to be opened at Odan, SDM office to be opened in Palari.

During the Jan Chaupal, the President of Maa Lakshmi self-help group Parvati Sarathi, a resident of Nagar Panchayat Palari, produces vermicompost. She said that there are 16 members in her group, and so far only Rs 30,000 has been paid. Chief Minister instructed the collector to probe the matter. Ms.Geeta Sahu, the beneficiary of the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, told the Chief Minister that a Gauthan has been established in her village. She bought a cow from the money she earned from selling 98 quintals of cow dung, which gives 4 kg of milk daily. Durga Prasad Sahu of village Sahda said that mobile medical units operated under Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana are stationed regularly every Friday here. Free treatment and medicines are being provided to the needy by expert doctors.

A beneficiary of Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Shramik Majdoor Nyay Yojana, Nisha Banjare told that she is not getting the benefit of the scheme as the land is in her father-in-law’s name. The Chief Minister instructed the Collector to investigate the issue.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel interacted with a student named Pradeep Kurre, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School. He said that he had to pay a lot of fees in a private school, but now he is studying free of cost. On the demand of Mrs. Lakheshwari Verma for a Gauthan in Vatgan village, Chief Minister instructed the Collector to build a Gauthan. Ms. Durpati Sahu told that her husband died as lighting struck him, and the amount of compensation has not been received yet. After hearing this, the Chief Minister instructed the collector to provide the amount soon.
