Science College Ground is ready to welcome the visitors
Main stage, pavilions, stalls, entrances of various departments and other such arrangements are nearing completion
Raipur, 31 October 2022/ Final preparations for the National Tribal Dance Festival and Rajyotsav to be held from November 01 to 03 are underway at the Science College ground in Raipur, capital of Chhattisgarh. The construction of the main stage, pavilions, stalls, entrance gates of various departments in the Science College ground is nearing completion. Many guests from various parts of the country and abroad have reached Raipur to participate in the National Tribal Dance Festival and many more are on the way.
The grand event of National Tribal Dance Festival and Rajyotsava will be organized from November 1st to 3rd at Science College Ground in the capital city Raipur. The inaugural program will be held on November 1 at 11 am, and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will be the chief guest of the occasion. Speaker of the Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant will preside over the program. State Award Ceremony will be organized from 7 pm on the same day, and Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey will be the chief guest of the occasion. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will preside over the award ceremony. On November 2, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will mark his presence as Chief Guest and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat will preside over the programmes scheduled on Day-2. Rajyotsav event will conclude on November 3 at 7 pm, and Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Hemant Soren will grace the concluding programme as chief guest, while Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will preside over the program.
As many as 1500 tribal artists from nine countries-Mozambique, Mongolia, Tongo, Russia, Indonesia, Maldives, Serbia, New Zealand and Egypt, and all the states and union territories of India will participate in the National Tribal Dance Festival. Many of these teams have already arrived at Raipur, while several others are on the way.
At the development themed exhibition organized at Science College ground, 21 stalls of state government departments, 40 stalls in Shilpgram, 24 stalls in food zone, stalls of various industries and PSUs, 40 commercial stalls have been set up. Visitors will get to witness the diversity of culture, tradition and folk art of different tribes of the country and abroad at Rajyotsav. The tableau based on the journey of development of Chhattisgarh in the last four and a half years will also be displayed at the exhibition based. Shilpgram and Food Zone will also be the center of their attraction.
