Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that this film depicts the rural life of a Chhattisgarh based village. Bhulan Kanda is based on a tale that prevails in the Jungles of the village. There is such a popular belief in Chhattisgarh that a man forgets his way by stepping on a specific plant and gets lost in the forest.
It is shown in the movie that the protagonist of the movie, Bhakla, is running circles in the city and feels lost as compared to his simple village life. Mr. Baghel further said that The cast of this movie have done a great job and I think everyone should watch this movie.
This National Award winning Film, Bhulan The Maze, is based on the novel ‘Bhulan Kanda’ written by Mr. Sanjeev Bakshi. The book was written with keeping in mind the the cultural and popular beliefs of Chhattisgarh. The film has been directed by Mr. Manoj Verma.
