Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has announced to increase the honorarium of (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gaurantee Act) MNREGA employment assistants from 5 thousand Rs to 9 thousand 540 Rs as per Collector rate.
On the demands related to the service conditions of the MNREGA employment assistants, the Chief Minister has said that a decision will be taken in this regard after receiving the report from the committee constituted at the state level.
The Chief Minister made this announcement during a discussion with a delegation of MNREGA employment assistants who came to his residence office here today. Industries Minister Shri Kawasi Lakhma was also present on the occasion.
