On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami,Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of the state . The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh, in every era has made an important contribution in every and has achieved great heights of development. There has been a glorious cultural,historical and traditional contribution of Chhattisgarh from Treta Yuga to modern times,. There is a need to save, beautify and present this melting pot of religion ,art, archaeology , and culture in front of the country and the world.
He further said that “last year, we had inaugurated the renovation and beautification work of Kaushalya Mata Temple in Chandkhuri equipped with high quality facilities developed for the tourists in a grand program. Today, on the occasion of Ram Navami, the restoration and development works of the temple in Shivrinarayan, the facilities developed for the tourists, are being dedicated under this tourism circuit as Ram Van Gaman Project. Other sites will also be developed in the future. Shri Baghel said that Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram had come to Chhattisgarh in Treta Yuga. The biggest monument of the Buddhist period is in Sirpur, Chhattisgarh, which is also being developed. Even during the freedom struggle of the country before 1857 , we had martyr Gundadhur, Amar Shaheed Gendsingh,Fighters like Amar Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh whose story of valor makes us proud. He said that whether in the field of religion, culture ,archaeology, literature, Chhattisgarh has made an important contribution in the Indian religion and cultural Worldview. The first story and the first novel were composed in Chhattisgarh. The contribution of Chhattisgarh needs to be presented in front of the country and the world today.
On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami,Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Dudhadhari Math in the capital Raipur today , He visited the Shri Ram Panchayatan temple located in the temple premises, Sankat Mochan,he participated in chanting hymns of Lord Hanuman, Lord Balaji, . Amidst the sound of Shankh,The Chief Minister also indulged in worship ceremony according to the rituals of Sanatan Dharma . He prayed for prosperity and happiness of the people of the state. Mr. Baghel also offered prayers to Lord Rama, Mata Sita and Ram’s three brothers whose idols are seated in the Shri Ram Panchayatan temple located in the temple premises. He also visited the Samadhi of Mahant Rajeshree Shri Balabhadra Das ji.
On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission Chairman Mahant Rajeshree Dr. Ramsunder Das, Chhattisgarh State Other Backward Classes Commission Chairman, Thaneshwar Sahu, and a large number of public representatives and devotees. were also present. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was accorded a warm welcome by Mahant Rajeshree Ramsundar Das, officials of the Math and devotees on his arrival at Dudhadhari Math.
