In the wake of appeals made by Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel for ‘Paradan'(donation of paddy stubble), a state-wide stubble donating campaign is gaining momentum and the large number of farmers are donating paddy stubble. These stubbles can be used as fodder for the animals in the Gauthans. In Ambikapur so far, 10 thousand 797 quintals of stubble have been collected in 273 gauthans from ‘Paradan’.
According to the information received, 914 quintals of stubble have been collected in 43 gauthans of Ambikapur development block, 1810 quintals in 42 gauthans of Lakhanpur, 2567 quintals in 29 gauthans of Sitapur, 2109 quintals in 28 gauthans of Batauli, 1388 quintals in 41 gauthans of Udaipur, 1152 quintals in 25 gauthans of Lundra and 859 quintals in 29 gauthans of Mainpat.
