Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the Divyang couple

Raipur 22 December 2022/ Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday handed over a cheque of Rs one lakh to a Divyang couple during his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ programme held at village Odan. On the occasion, he gave blessings to the couple and extended his best wishes to them for starting this new chapter in their life.
Deputy Director Social Welfare informed that Divyang Shri Domar Yadav and his wife Smt. Bodhani Yadav has 85 per cent disability percentage. Domar and Bodhani, residents of Gadabhatha village, tied the knot this year. They have presented a cheque of Rs one lakh by the Chief Minister under the ‘Mukhyamantri Nishakt Vivah Protsahan Yojana’. The Yadav couple told that they run a ‘tapri’ to earn a living which generates a monthly income of about Rs 3,000 to 4,000.
Shri Yadav received the cheque from the Chief Minister with all smiles and said this amount will prove to be a milestone in boosting their business besides helping them become financially self-reliant. Similarly, the Chief Minister presented a cheque of Rs 50,000 to Divyang Shri Hupendra Verma and his wife Smt. Varsha Verma of Phundhardih village under this scheme. The couple expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the state government for this scheme. They said that receiving the amount from Chief Minister is a historic moment for us. The amount will help them achieve financial security.
