Chief Minister visited a farmer’s home for lunch with cordiality

The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is visiting the Dongargarh Vidhansabha region in Rajnandgaon district as part of the Bhent Mulaqat program. During this, the Chief Minister reached Arjuni to meet the common people. When he felt hungry by the afternoon, he visited the house of the Halba tribal farmer Mr. Dilip Dhanpal for lunch. There, the Chief Minister and the other guests were welcomed by the farmer’s family according to rural tradition by washing hands and feet. They were then welcomed affectionately after applying tilak.
In the meal, Chhattisgarhi delicacies like Chausela, Dhedhri, Khurmi, and Gulgula Bhajiya along with dishes like Lakhdi Bhaji, Tamatar Chutney, Chutney made on Silbatta, yam, Munga, mixed vegetables (Naval Gol, cauliflower, and beans), bitter gourd, chapati, rice, and dal were served. The Chief Minister enjoyed the meal while sitting on the floor.
Along with the Chief Minister, Other Backward Classes Development Authority President, and MLA Mr. Daleshwar Sahu, MLA Khairagarh Mrs. Yashoda Verma, President of the District Co-operative Central Bank Rajnandgaon Mr. Nawaz Khan, Local Sarpanch Mrs. Draupati Sahu, and Collector Rajnandgaon Mr. Doman Singh also had lunch.
