Average Rainfall of 743.00mm recorded in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, 11 August 2022/ As per the data collected by the State-level Control Room established by State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management, an average rainfall of 743.00mm has been recorded in Chhattisgarh from June 01 to present. Based on the rainfall recorded in different districts of the state from June 01 to today i.e. August 11, Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 1774.4 mm and Surguja the lowest average rainfall of 279.9 mm in the state.

According to the information received from the state-level flood control room, the average rainfall recorded in various districts of the state since June 1 is as follows- Surajpur 380.1 mm, Balrampur 318.7 mm, Jashpur 381.9 mm, Koriya 396.7 mm, Raipur 573.0 mm, Balodabazar 721.1 mm, Gariaband 842.6 mm, 726.6 mm in Mahasamund, 912.8 mm in Dhamtari, 778.3 mm in Bilaspur, 786.6 mm in Mungeli, 644.3 mm in Raigarh, 821.7 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 525.2 mm in Korba, 627.4 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 717.3 mm in Durg , Kabeerdham 711.3 mm, Rajnandgaon 799.8 mm, Balod 898.4 mm, Bemetara 502.3 mm, Bastar 1089.1 mm, Kondagaon 855.0 mm, Kanker 970.5 mm, Narayanpur 860.6 mm, Dantewada 1125.4 mm and Sukma 782.5 mm.
