Cap covers should be put up in collection centers to save paddy: proper drainage system should be ensured

Raipur, 29 December 2021/ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has directed all the District Collectors to ensure quick assessment of the crop and property damage caused due to untimely rains and hailstorms in the state. Mr. Baghel said that immediate financial aid should be provided to the victims of the damage, under the provisions of the Revenue Book Circular. Mr. Baghel has also directed the district collectors to put up cap covers and ensure drainage system to save the paddy in collection centers from rain and hailstorm.
Chief Minister has directed the District Collectors to take all the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Omicron and COVID infection. Mr. Baghel has given instructions to pace up the COVID testing drive in all the districts and ensure that all the hospitals are equipped to deal with any emergency situation. Chief Minister said that strict adherence to the COVID protocol should be ensured and the administration as well as health staff should be alerted to monitor the status of infection.

Chief Minister has given instructions to create widespread awareness about the COVID vaccination drive for adolescent girls of age 15 to 18 years starting from January 3 in the state and the COVID vaccination drive for providing the third precautionary dose to the health workers, frontline workers and people above 60 years of age suffering from serious diseases, starting from January 10. Mr. Baghel has also directed the district administration to ensure vaccination of those who have not yet received the first and the second doses of corona vaccine.
It is noteworthy that for the vaccination of adolescent girls of age group 15 to 18 years, registration on the CoWIN app will start from January 1. Similarly, the third dose (precaution dose) of corona vaccine will be provided to the health workers, frontline workers and people of age above 60 years suffering from serious diseases, who have completed nine months or 39 weeks for the second dose from January 10.
